The concept of the Toyota GT86 Shooting Brake comes from Toyota’s Australian design team while engineers in Japan work on creating the real thing.
The design team came up with this mostly identical concept to the main car and focused there efforts on the roof and B-pillar structure. They wanted to create something new without changing the tested engineering of the original vehicle. The final design allows for more head space and the option to fit a roof rack.
